San Diego web design company DigaWorks launches it's new corporate web site.

Our new web site incorporates several new techniques such as custom-designed, digital matte paintings for all the website’s main backgrounds. Matte painting is a technique employed by movie studios for use in many major films.

The site is developed completely in Adobe® Flash but utilizes advanced technology called "deep linking" that allows the site visitor to use the browser’s navigation buttons, such as the back/forward/refresh buttons.

Development of the new site took about six months because of the many new, unique features implemented.
Take a look and let us know what you think. www.digaworks.com

Digital Matte backgrounds are awesome. It would be cool if you guys offered them as desktops too. Overall, I like the design of the site, there is no overkill.

Observations:
1) The home page, the "featured problem" took a bit to load up.
2) Favicon?
Glad you liked the site! I really like your idea of the digital backgrounds as desktops. Maybe soon. :)
The next step is to add a scratch and sniff feature or a blast of rainforest mist shooting out of your monitor when you hit the services link.

I think the case studies are very high end and well executed. The product pops off the pages as if it were life like. Great user experience.

And to think it use to look like this
