At my company we use Brigthcove to host our video and it sucks- we cant get the video listed in Google. What video hosting resource does your company use, from Flash players on the website to a 3rd party service- hit me with it- and provide links to the page(s).

If you do use Brightcove and you want to get the videos indexed in Google rankings, let us chat- chat with me!

I've had a Brightcove account for over a year and have not found it to generate significant traffic for my video reports. At this moment in time, YouTube is the nets video distribution resource.

Dell Computing Channel on YouTube
Same experience here Jack- lets try to come up with some ides on how we can help each other??? Hit me up.
blip.tv embeds everywhere, the pages index, and the quality rocks...

overlay.tv lets you add links, products and video-in-video to any video from blip, youtube, etc.
Hey Ben- Brightcove allows for overlays- I have done that. My big desire is to get these Brightcove videos that are hosted on Brightcove.tv but are run by Billboard.com to rank for queries related to that video. For example if we have a 50 Cent Exclusive Interview on video, I want that to rank for the keyword 50 Cent Exclusive Interview. Any ideas?
Thanks for the insights- I have to work with what Ive got.
I emailed you- are you trying to help me or sell me services- lets be frank.
Like I said- self promotional should be saved for my profile or emails, not for threads where people are asking real questions to help their business. But then I'm crazy because I am trying to preserve the integrity of this social network- about advertising and for advertising pros to gain deeper insights from each other.

I could be self promotional too, but I realize the importance of building TRUST with users before I go blabbing about me and how they can use my services.
We at Jippidy.com are focused on localized search results enhanced with video advertising, all for little to no cost to the consumer or business owner. As the other commenters suggest, there are a plethora of video hosting resources out there, from large ones with great reach to newbies. I think given the wide range of choices, any service that charges a hefty hosting premium is an outdated business model - if you offer a good product with appealing content, you attract the eyeballs; once you have that stickiness, there are other revenue-raising opportunities. For that reason, any site with sizable hosting fees should be avoided, IMHO.
Well i am already using Brightcove.tv- seems you people are answering a question I did not ask. I want to know who uses Brightcove.tv and if their videos rank. If not, what site do they use to get rankings.
SORRY EVERYONE IVE BEEN AWAY ON BUSINESS- Give me a second to read through these responses.
Ummm this is a string for q/a about Brightcove- not a place for you to be self promotional. Really, you need to respect this network. You can post or email me these type of messages.

Thanks,

EM
