What Happened to Our Sense of Humor?

IS it just me or does it seem that with every passing day the United States is becoming more and more a Fascist country?

And if you're not from the U.S., please tell us your thoughts as an "outside observer". After all, to all those of you in other nations, aren't you a little sick of our fearless leader telling you how the "United States is the greatest nation on earth" all the time.

And to our friends in China, thank you for not foreclosing on the U.S. before the Holidays? We appreciate it.

Actually I´m feeling sorry for you.
Your "beloved" leader has ruined almost all brand value. And everytime he opens his mouth the remaining value goes even further down the drain.
A few more hurricanes and some more private Don Quijote wars against the mills, the whole country will be bankrupt.

Not yet. I agree Bush has destroyed U.S. image in the world, on behalf of a minority.
U.S. is becoming a decadent empire and in future it could appear a new form of fascism, based in supposed old values, to recover old glory days. Terrible mistake that all countries commit sooner or later. That would be the last blow

Everyone to the left in advertising? Maybe in the states. In my corner of the world the situation is quite the opposite.
But I think that you have to define what you mean by saying "left". What´s "left" in the USA often means far right in Europe and maybe other parts of the world. You can say that we have different systems.

usa sucks but no more then evry other country (my included and i know many people think that-cheers),that is the basic rull of a country. and who wouldnot want to have the amrican dream even if it is just a dream.

this post started with the lost of Sense of Humor ,so all i say in this reply's are in that contact. as i said i also want the amrican dream and the fact that i know it is a dream does not help me from wanting it. it his a dream because we all know(sorry i know) by now that money does not make us happy and still we run after it. and about really wanting it, i'm sure there are many Vietnamies who want it badly but still cant get it . only a few are lucky no matter how bad you want it. what i dont like is the thought that the "old country" is worse, by that you make Amrica better then Vietnam(or downgrade Vietnam) , i'm not sure thats true but i am sure the "old" part of your family still miss it .
