I remember in 2001, I was sitting in my first advertising class at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. I had a teacher that worked at Wunderman and he told us all that the females in that class were going to have to work 3 times as hard as the guys to make it in advertising, especially in the creative department. I have only had about 3 years of experience in the real world of advertising, but luckily I havent worked in a male-driven creative environment. Although I'd love to work under a female, ball-busting, creative director. What do you ladies think about this? What are your experiences? Im at the beginning of my career and looking to move up to a larger agency, so any tales and tips would help me along my career path in this industry.
Oh, and check out my site if you get a chance! www.oherika.com
