Funny thing, I worked for a technology company and shared an office with the copywriter. Half the time she was dozing off. The other half was spent digging her fingers into her forehead to hold back the pain. I might have even got a couple good shots of her in action. One time the VP walked in and she was sleeping like a baby. She looked at me and I looked back like "whatever." Yes technology is grueling to write for. I could not imagine doing it. I actually prefer this style. what style? well i am a mainline copywriter, and don't limit myself to any specific style (industry) although i cringe at the thought of writing technology products and almost orgasm while writing for finance products
