Good discussion that is going no place - maybe no place to go? At least no place we want to think about?
I just want a link to the rooster chasing the karate kid.

This is annoying. It is a constant battle to figure out ways to archive important business data. We store in several different formats but none are really stable. We "hope" one works when we need the data.
On the plus side the need to…
My wife, my 2 kids, my grandkids, Bible, painting, photography, trucks, motorcycles, guns and shooting. Yeah, that's right, I am a red state southerner!
About Me
Not much to tell. Grew up in Kenner, a suburb of New Orleans, before they were called "suburbs". Studied art and beer at Southeastern Louisiana College (SLC now SLU). Decided I could not make a living working the fence in Jackson Square or drinking beer, so I changed majors to Advertising Design and transferred to USL (University of Southwest Louisiana), which had an excellent program. Studied under Dutch Kepler who is now retired (I am getting old!).
Did four years in the Air Force during the Vietnam War in Air Weather Service. Served in Victorville, CA and King Salmon, AK. Loved the Alaska tour with the hunting and fishing! (It sure beat the hell out of Vietnam, especially since I was in the 5th Weather Wing, which supported the Army, including on field ops)
After the Air Force (1973) went to work for SPAR as a graphic designer, then art director, then creative director, then general manager. Small shop - currently 8 people. SPAR was an in-house agency for the Sazerac Company in New Orleans but is now on its own. Guess I will retire from here.
Have two great kids, both boys. One in Abilene, TX with three adopted kids (one married), and the younger about a mile from me with a new daughter. Can't say enough good about either of them. Still married to my high school sweetheart, the proverbial girl next door. And she is still beautiful! Life has been good!

Thanks for clearing that up for me regarding the lack of communication skills from the communications expert. New Orleans and booze, huh? Two of my favorite things and two things that go together oh so well. In a previous life, I used to help events and clubs deal with regulations from the California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC). I used to marvel at how in California we had 2,386 pages of regs and in N.O., you guys have a pamphlett. (Well that might have changed by now)
