About Me
I'm President of the new Are You Tech, a non-profit awaiting 501(c)(3) certification, and home of the soon-to-launch Yore Town social oral history platform. I'm also Sales & Marketing Manager for Suburban Newspapers of America, a trade association of 2400 community newspapers in the U.S. and Canada. My background is newspaper advertising. I also co-authored "Implementing and Managing Telework: a Guide for Those who Make it Happen."

For Are You Tech I am currently responsible for the administration, and the marketing and sales of the Yore Town platform: for SNA I help host conferences, bring in vendors as associate members and conference exhibitors, host Webinars, and write about industry products, tools and ideas

Work History
17 years in newspapers, such as The Sacramento Bee, The Herald in Rock Hill SC, the Chapel Hill (NC) News, and Topics Newspapers in metro Indianapolis. I was Classified Advertising Manager at Topics and then went on to become Product Manager for the Indy-area Employment Weekly. I created my own freelance writing and advertising copywriting company, DeScribe, and then worked for a media consultancy, The AIM Group, as a Writer/Analyst, before accepting my current SNA position
