- About Me
- I'm a freelance Photographer and Writer. I live in Glasgow with my husband and glamorous assistant, James. I juggle being a photographer with being a writer, but I do it well, so at least it looks good!
- Areas of Expertise
- Um...photographer??? Not studio photography, though. BORING! More like getting out there where the light is difficult, shooting people in interesting, and relevant environments, shooting documentary style for stock and for clients. I use small flashes in clever ways to create studio-level professional shots in the real world.
As far as my writing career goes, I have over ten years of experience transcribing, editing and proofreading other people's material as well as creating my own. I produce academic research papers, magazine articles and opinion pieces as well as a bit of copywriting here and there. I tend to specialise in technology (esp. photography), digital media, new media, media activism, sociology, international politics, environmental issues, and especially American culture and politics, but I will write about anything I can research.

- I currently supply images to a stock agency and I recently spent nine months working in a portrait studio. I've also shot for my alma mater, Glasgow Caledonian University and I write academic research papers for a couple of client companies.
