So I changed my profile photo from my company's logo, viralfilmvideo.com to this picture of me and my dog Bailey. When you don't have kids you really bond with your animals I guess. I really did anyway.

If anybody's from Chicago area I'd love to chat. I'm a little new to the whole advertising scene in terms of selling and pitching to large corporations but I recently comitted myself to creating a softer form of sales in web series' that I now write and produce.

My two main issues is writing original content and blending it with the product placement. When I shoot the series episodes I'm starting to shoot little stand alone clips, which is what the three spots are that are on my profile here. They make a little more sense when you get to know the characters in connection with the series.

If anybody has any advise I'd love to hear it. My background originally is feature films so it's a new experience every day dealing with products and sales.

I had legally changed my name to ViralFilmVideo.com from Viral Film Video. My parents had no idea that the whole dot com thing was going to happen but not many people did so I don't hold it against them. It was pretty tough going to school with the first name of Viral. Lets just say I didn't go on a lot of dates. Since I'm being forced to go to a more traditional name by "the man" I'll go to my parents second choice DAVE from here on out. Glad to meet everyone here.

Please use your own name, not your company name as your profile name. This place is for people profiles, not company profiles. You can make the change in My Profile Settings on the Account tab. And please modify your profile so your about section talks about you, not your company. There's a separate section for that.

POTENTIAL NEW CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Hey everyone, I was just thinking of something interesting that happened a month or so ago. A potential client approached us about doing a few "Viral" spots for his company. He wanted something really awesome and was willing to pay a whopping $2500 that is if we can impress him with our pitch. I thought a little bit about potential ideas and was starting to get a little excited even though the client wasn't talking about a lot of money. We decided we'd go for it and fill some of our free time… Continue
