The way ad agencies work is I work in a team with a copywriter. We come up with the ideas together and then use directors, illustrators, photographers, typographers, or whoever we need for the particular job.

From an art point of view, I guide the process, along with input from my creative director and copywriter, and my writer is in charge of the sound and copy. However, I prefer input from everyone.

The tuis ad was done to appologise to consumers. Tuis magazine is a house and leisure magazine, and in its first month of production, it completely sold out leaving hundreds of unhappy consumers complaining that they didnt get a copy. So we appologised with this ad. The concept is about how do it yourself home mistakes can happen when you dont own a copy of tuis. The water should be coming out of his pee pee, not his ear...hee hee.
