About Me
My marketing department and I continually raise the bar in utilizing new media to attract and retain young professionals within the arts community in Columbus, Ohio. We are looked up to as the leaders in our arts community in marketing, advertising and promotions and have been asked to speak to other non-profit organizations on how best to use new media in conjunction with traditional.

My personal favorite was an online/offline mystery scavenger hunt that I developed, designed, executed and oversaw. It was a promotional campaign for an upcoming mystery show that took players from a window display at a mall to a radio station's (sponsor's) website, to landmark Columbus, Ohio, buildings and much, much more. All to solve one mystery: Who Stole The Music?

It was a smashing success locally and even gained us national exposure.

I'm pretty much awesome.

An ad, to me, is so much more than just trying to get a potential customer to notice you. Current employees also notice the ad and feel proud of the company for which they work; competitors feel envious; and your buyers feel happy in the purchase they've made.

Lazy Sales Reps - they're getting worse

Is it just me, or have print media sales reps gotten worse?

I can't blame them, really. I know that newspapers (and all print, for that matter) are flipping out about nontraditional media's encroachment on their turf and taking their readers. And good sales reps are getting harder to find, because they're going to where they believe the best sales and money are.

I get sleazy sales "professionals" that seem like they spent the better part of their lives peddling used…

You want to be part of my "How far can we take it" experiment on the "Colbert 08" idea with Fritolay?

I think the guy we need to get to is Jason McDonell, Doritos’ director of marketing and advertising.

I wonder if anyone in here has him in their rolodex?
