My Romantic Comedy, Girl of My Dreams By Morgan Mandel, Is Now Available

Hi everyone,

It's an exciting time for me, since my romantic comedy, Girl of My Dreams, about a straitlaced assistant who turns vamp in a reality show to save a dying studio, has just been released.

Since she looks better than plain me, I've changed my profile photo to her image.

In this Cinderella story, my heroine, Jillian, travels the globe from Hollywood, to Waikiki Beach, to Las Vegas, and Venice. Then, she's off to Paris to model on a runway.

It looks like…

New Video of My Dog, Rascal, is up on You Tube - Also add me as a friend

My new video of my dog, Rascal, is up on youtube.com now, taken on vacation in Wisconsin at the Blessing of the Animals.

Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0QXRde-FOI

Hope you like it.

By the way, I haven't been able to add any friends lately because I'm still way over the limit of friend requests (about 2,000) and it's taking me forever to whittle the list down from those who haven't responded. If…

Wow, that's great that you're a writer! I graduated with a Liberal Arts degree, so writing is something that I worked very hard at in college. I am interested in checking out your new novel...I love to read!

Hey Morgan!
A thing you may want to try to help you out sift through your email addresses--to make sure only the good ones are on your list, is to have them opt-in (or re-opt-in) to receiving your emails! Our system also helps out to put email addresses that bounce back emails on a special monitored list and if that behavior continues (bounce back issues), we automatically stop sending emails to them because it could be because they closed their account or something of that nature.

About the electronic business card thing, you may want to check to see if images are enabled. Depending on what email service provider you have, they may have images disabled as their default setting, and you can either download images of individual emails as they come, or go to the settings of your email, and change the default there. Let me know how things go with this--I hope it helps!

Hi Morgan,
That’s great--200 is good! About the contact import, there may be an easier way: When you are in your Yahoo account, click the “Addresses” tab, then on the right there should be an “import/export” option. It also includes help instructions for exporting to Outlook Express. Hope that helps. ^^

But yes, it’s good to compare different services and see which one you’d feel comfortable with. As your list grows, you should consider one of our features—targeting your list by zip code. We also do special interests, but this may be particularly useful because whenever you have book signings or speaking engagements, you can make sure that the people in the area you will be visiting knows about it—and not necessarily everyone. This keeps things relevant for the reader which helps to keep them engaged, reading your emails and coming to your events (and most importantly buying your books). =)

Any plans on coming to Rockville, MD area soon?

All the best!
Maggie
