This morning I had the opportunity to see your presentation on "How to Get clients to Love Your Brand". I found it VERY informative.
My speciality is helping smaller companies profit from the power of branding. More and more I see where a small company, if well differentiated, can compete effectively using online media. But my question, because I myself have run into this as a web site owner for over ten years, is how effective is W2.0 in the B2B arena? Do purchasing agents and engineers frequent and participate in forums and social media sites in a business context? Things may be changing, but my very restricted perspective says no. Any insights to share?
PS: I'm blogging about your presentation later today, 3/12/08 at www.signaturestrategies.com. I'm not sure what I'm doing, but I'll send you a trackback as well as reference your blog in mine.
Also, I found the links in your presentation materials did not work for me.
Hey Rohit,
Love the Influential Marketing Blog, especially the way you always break things down into lists. Would like to hear you speak sometime also: I am attending the -free part- of Adtech NY.. It would be great if they introduced student discounts for such events (too expensive otherwise...)
Rohit - thx for the Add. Good to see a local guy from DC on this Advertising site. Being that you represent a well respected firm, I'd like to get your opinion on my company's newest tool in non-traditional marketing. www.hdnapkin.com.
We definitely need a little PR to get our concept out!!!
Hey I like your idea about micro-sponsorships. Could be a pretty cool way to spread the money around. If you could extend that to online videos it might be even better.
