For the love of type!!

I love Marian Bjantes and her beautiful, fluid and enchanting type. My husband has a keen interest in typography and has helped me understand how typography is the "performance of words." My eyes have grown weary of the post-war, modernist and stripped down typefaces. I love Helvetica but there's something sacred about words that lure you in like a seductive lover. Like a good poem. Like the beloved. The sacred marriage of copy and typography ensure that the words sing and dance.

Anthropologioe is doing this now. Wallpaper, bless their hearts, have always done this. Veer, of course! Consider it when your'e writing for women consumers, tweens and teens, who love that hand-made, illustrative quality of artful headlines.
