d+g Communications Group Honored with 12 Awards in the First Quarter of 2009
The public relations team at d+g earned the prestigious Special Recognition Award from the Gold Coast Public Relations Council for our contribution to the field of public relations. The award was granted to d+g on the basis of creativity, vision, execution and most of all achieving results for our clients as presented at the 2009 Bernays Awards ceremony held on January 29th, 2009.
The creative left brains at d+g rocked the 2009 Addy awards on March 7th winning 9 awards overall including the coveted Judge’s Choice award for the 150 Worth magazine campaign. Overall, d+g earned seven awards for 150 Worth within the categories of judge’s choice, full page magazine/color, and photography/digital enhancement.
In addition, d+g received two silver awards for the agency’s holiday e-card – showcasing the agency’s ongoing evolution in design techniques. The e-card is a brilliant portrayal of the agency’s creative ability, designed with intricate 3D animation, special effects and photo illustration.
Worthy of the shiny crystal statue seen in our lobby, the pr team at d+g earned two Palm Awards at the annual PRSA ceremony held on February 27th. The first award recognized the agency for the Taste of the Palm Beaches campaign. The November 2008 event drew thousands for a night of culinary tastings and fundraising to benefit the Big Heart Brigade. As a result of the press coverage and community support, Big Heart was able to provide 51,300 meals to those in need throughout the region. A 168% increase over the previous year.
The second award was earned for the Ringo Starr art show and sale hosted by the Roadshow Company at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Working in conjunction with the SHRHC staff, Ringo’s appearance earned overwhelming press coverage on television, newspaper and radio, and throughout the internet.

palmbeach3 - A Renowned Celebration of Contempoary Art
As seen in magazines, newspaper, online and as you drive along Okeechobee Blvd in downtown West Palm Beach, thousands descended upon the Palm Beach County Convention Center to attend PalmBeach3 – the world’s leading contemporary art fair. The award-winning campaign designed by d+g presented bold colors with subliminal artistic elements reflective of the tri-faceted exhibition – photography, art and furnishings.

Kroma Make Up National Campaign Debut at the Oscars
Seeking branding that’s national in concept and innovative in execution, Kroma MakeUp was referred to d+g for branding and marketing services. The new campaign debuted at the 2009 Oscars in Hollywood, Califonia and will appear in the spring editions of NewBeauty and Organic Spa magazines. Kroma MakeUp is a nutrient rich, all-natural cosmetic line offering custom blending for an unlimited spectrum of color. New marketing and design projects will unfold in the upcoming months.

PaperChain is one of the nation’s largest newspaper association networks representing a combined audited circulation of over 67,000,000 newspapers weekly. d+g, was engaged to create a national business-to-business campaign encompassing design in print and online. Mummies of the World: The Dream of Eternal Life
d+g is proud to be the creative and media agency of the blockbuster exhibit, Mummies of the World: The Dream of Eternal Life. As the largest traveling exhibition of mummies and artifacts Mummies Of The World will tour science centers and museums in the United States for a limited three year tour commencing July 2010. d+g developed the exhibition branding which recently appeared as an announcement in Times Square NY and on the Las Vegas strip. BallenIsles Country Club unveiled a new east course. Not just any course, but a course redesigned after the infamous PGA Tour with Jack Nicklaus and JULIOS BOROS. Media personalities, course designer Keith Foster and members participated in a day of food, drink and unsurpassed golf. The course opening has appeared on television and in newspaper and magazines throughout the region, in addition to Travel & Leisure Golf, Golf Digest, and other national magazines.
The following week, d+g organized interviews with Venus and Serena Williams. As residents of BallenIsles, the sisters were filmed by ESPN and HBO Sports for upcoming nationally-airing programs.

In the Lap of Luxury
In January, d+g communications partnered with LUXE Magazine, LaVelle Construction and Randall Stofft Architects to present the 2009 LUXE Showhome. This highly successful weeklong fundraising event encompassed music, fine food, fashion, celebrity appearances and entertainment to garner awareness of the creators of the spectacular $8.5 million estate and over a half-dozen charities.
