Arby's Makes Grease-Stained Tribute to Mona Lisa

Ad land has this incredible talent for bastardizing beautiful things, and doing it in a way where we're like, hey, that's kind of cool.

That's the feeling you get when you watch "Burger Grease Art," where a guy uses the grease from non-Arby's burgers to create a giant reproduction of Da Vinci's enigmatic lady.

Across the bottom of the video -- which we really couldn't help sitting through, even as we clutched our stomachs and began to dry-heave -- is a link to burgergreaseart.com, which tackles your line of sight with three appealingly matte Arby's Roastburgers. (For some reason, we kinda hoped for something Etch-a-Sketchy except with grease, but no dice.)

Word has it you can "Get One Free!", but that's a slightly deceptive come-on. We clicked on the free burger offer and were sent to Arbys.com, where we had to click on the offer again -- and what ho! -- lookie here, a membership form.

What's so tough about coupons? Or providing SMS discount codes after asking for our mobile numbers? WHO MAKES PEOPLE FILL OUT FORMS ANYMORE?

Like Arby's is the mecca for responsible eating?...How do you think they got the name?

It came from all the fat ash people squeezing themselves through the door while mumbling "arrrrrrrrrghhhhhh" while they popped through like the buy-a-ball rack at Toys-R-Us. Who are you kidding...with the right marketing tactic...most of you would eat ANYTHING I placed in front of you.
