One of the biggest complaints about CP+B's wacked-out Gates/Seinfeld campaign was that it didn't really do much to push the product. In fact, it didn't mention the product at all.
As you recall, that effort was fast followed by "I'm a PC," which did mention the product, but not in any technical or deeply informative way.
Make way for the latest suite of MSFT fumbles, labeled "Laptop Hunters." In this installment, an incredibly smug human being called Giampaolo shows us all how precious, how picky, how tech he is(n't really).
Yeah, it's easy to say "I'm a PC" when you're handed $1500 to go get one. On the other side of the fence, people trip all over themselves for the privilege to slather Steve Jobs with their hard-earned milk money.
George Parker has a complementary but less subtle take on the effort. It's called "Brazilian clown buys huge fucking computer!" Priceless Parkerism: "He's a regular Mr. Motor Mouth. I know it's all about bits and bites, but even more importantly, it's about communication." (Emphasis ours.)
