We turned off our cable and stopped all forms of media (news)earlier this year, and our lives have become much more productive!!! No Doubt! Thoughts become things!

Now, I'm not part of the tin foil hat brigade, but I do believe critics/creators of media, like advertisers, PR, marketing, media biz people....don't see this, but there is alot of Middle America that believes and reverbs most of what they see on T.V. because they believe it to be real, and what they should be doing, thinking, looking like, etc . Think about people who listened to War of the Worlds on the Radio, they truly believed that was real.

This guy is fucking high! He assumes there is no such thing as individual thought and that no one possesses the ability to distinguish between truth or fiction; right or wrong.

His assertion that people, "especially young people," accept, unquestionably, the reality that is presented by the media is insane.

Certainly advertisers and, to a certain extent, the media have agendas but to assume they have complete control over every aspect of humans as if they were a bunch of lemmings is just whack job psycho-babble.

This whole thing has to be a joke.
