In 2001, Kylie Minogue shimmied into a garter belt and rode a velvet mechanical bull under the watchful eye of a creepy old woman with a paperback novel.
Their objective: to prove Agent Provocateur was the world's most erotic lingerie by giving movie-going chavs big hard woodies. It's cheeky shit, but what erotic spark it lights is quickly dampened when the geriatric refugee from Grimm's Fairy Tales starts laughing maniacally.
But hey. Regardless of why you remembered the ad, the point is it was memorable. In a recent eight-week poll by Digital Cinema Media, it was voted the best cult cinema spot of all-time. All-time!
The Guardian's got the sitch. Other notables rounding out the top 10 include the Orange Gold Spots franchise (2), Maxell's "Break the Sound Barrier" (3) and "Balls" by Sony Bravia (10).
