The Million Penny Project - Make Change

This time-lapse video is for the Million Penny Project, a group that takes up various causes (its current darling is homelessness) and solicits donations from local businesses.

The result of the short film -- an image composed entirely of pennies -- was displayed at a Miami bus stop last month to promote "Pumped for Change," an effort to raise $10,000 worth of pennies.

All pennies will be used in future postmodern art commentaries intended to morally convict you. Just kidding. The money actually goes to local charities like Camillus House and the Community Partnership for Homeless.

"But I haven't any coppers, only plastic," you say, flailing your wallet helplessly. That's cool too; buy a shirt.
