Why do you think so many of the personal pages on AdGabber use reversed out text - white letters on a dark background?
There is overwhelming anecdotal and clinical evidence - from David Ogilvy to the Advertising Research Foundation - that reversed out text strains eyes and inhibits readership.
That-a-boy. NUMBERS show us the way. Problem with you youngstah marketers....you don't realize it's a SCIENCE. Your opinion don't matter! What matters is the testing. If you want to sell widgets, stay away from reverse type! How many centuries of testing does it take to convince you? (Possible exception: Halloween sales)
When you're over 50 you'll really see what we mean (or not)!
