Sounds like we think along the same lines!! I would love to interview with the new ECD whenever he has the time. I actually live about 10 minutes away from the agency. Feel free to check out the rest of my portfolio at http://henrychineaportfolio.blogspot.com. Would you be able to e-mail me from your company e-mail so I can send you guys my resume? My e-mail address is henry.chinea@gmail.com. Thanks a million!
P.S. - "Aleve your pain." What do you think of that as a potential headline?
Hi, Henry. I was just invited here and started to add some colleagues to my contact list. Ha!
Sincerely I don't remember getting anything from you, but as you should know Carlos Chacin is no longer at the company since December 2007.
I'd be really glad to help you having an interview with the new Executive Creative Director, though.
Nice and scary headline. Haha. A couple of years ago I also came up with a line for a TV spot that read "Para sacarte ese peso de encima, ya no tenés que recurrir a los métodos extremos" ("To get that burden/extra weight off, you don't need to use the extreme methods"). The spot told the story of some Mafia hitmen who were sent by a man, supposedly to kill his fat wife, but in the last second they handled her a book on weight losing.
Hey Rodrigo! I'm just curious... How did you find me on here? I do remember sending an e-mail to Machado Garcia Serra not too long ago. It was sent to Carlos on July 10th as a matter of fact. I gotta say I'm kind of honored to be added by a Creative Director of a Miami agency. I've been trying to get my feet into one ever since August 2006. :)
There's nothing I'd like more than to be part of a team that creates work that makes heads spin and mouths talk. I would not mind starting as your mail clerk and working my way up to Copywriter someday.
A headline I thought of while at my boring day job today was "We're NOT sorry for your loss." It would be a headline to promote a weight-loss service such as Weight Watchers.
