About Me
because I work for a nonprofit, we don't have any marketing budget. I am looking for a kind soul who would like to donate their time and talents to writing copy for and designing ads, brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials to help advocate for people with mental retardation and other severe disabilities. Also, if you have any PR/media connections, please send my way. Thank you!

Company Description
Chesapeake Service System’s mission is two-fold. First, it is to provide meaningful work opportunities to people with mental retardation and other severe disabilities, enabling them to reach their full potential in a least restrictive environment that maximizes independence. Second, it is to advocate for changed perceptions and inclusion of people with mental retardation and other disabilities in the community so that the community sees their ability rather than the disability.
I loved working with Tracy- she was one of my best friends here, although compared to her, I felt like a Republican. She got burnt out, and has been at NCPA in Dupont for almost 2 years. I've had lunch with her a couple times since she she went there, and unfortunately went to her father's military funeral at Arlington last year. It was very moving.
I speak with her occasionally, and will send your regards. This is a good excuse to call or e-mail her...
I emailed you the other day at your personal account. Did you get that email or are we communicating telepathically? Let me know when you are free, I would love to help out with your site. It will be great to see you!
Teri, great member page! I have a social network for volunteers, I was wondering if you would like to share some of your experiences on the site? Its www.sociallyresponsible.ning.com.
NC is great! I'm so glad I moved down here. I thought VA would be as far south as I would go, but there was an exception. I don't have one bad thing to say about this place.
The new job is great, I'm actually working with Shannon Bowman - the company is based in Norfolk. I'm the online marketing director in charge of SEO and dreaming up viral campaigns. It's great!
I think I would find myself in Norfolk before too long for a meeting. I'll have to let you and Marcy know and we can meet up for a beer or five.
No problem. I'll need to contact you live, and speak with you about what your goals are so I can write the brief. Once we do that, I will post it on our site for the July 4th launch of briefs.
Please let me know where I can reach you. My email address is nick@topcreatives.com
Thanks for the add. I'm completely impressed with the work that you do - it must be very fulfilling going to work every day, knowing that you are making a difference in people's lives. The world needs more Teri-s!!

It's so nice to see a familiar face. Hope all is well in VA.
Things have really changed from three years ago. But change is good. I can't complain.
You belong to a great organization. I'm sure it is very fulfilling.
