(Hardly work, enjoy it more than any day's work I ever did as an employee!!!) Been freelancing for two years, part time through to Feb this year. At that time I began negotiations with a client from the States. She flew me in, gave me a place to stay and for 6 wks I nutted out how to take the failing website side of her business and turn it around into a main stream of cash flow... Major project... about 1 month from launch.
Sounds like India would be a really interesting place to explore opportunity especially since they are keenly developing global villages and establishing internet connections and global marketplaces at a fast rate of knots... Sounds like you're in a great place in yourself - finding out what you like and what inspires you... few people really do explore and experience that state of bliss... Even as a copywriter, I am discovering that while I like it, my passions grow and my interests turn to more complex and intriguing projects that need more detailed attention. Just so happens I am exploring a book project, and looking at the research needed to get the outline fleshed out... Love writing so much that writing books is my true passion... or one of...

At 7:46pm on May 27, 2008, Jessica said…: I'm still studying and have just moved away from the business management side towards multimedia and so am yet to find out how i will be able to use these skills but yes, ideally, i would love to use them in conjunction with buyer behaviour ie: designing advertising campaigns with optimum amount of influence. Using stuff like colour psychology etc (but hopefully more complex theories than that!). I've really discovered the visual art world of late and love looking at the trends within this. Trends are probably of most interest to me. Ahh I'm rambling ha ha. I'm still very much finding my feet whith where i want to take my career. I'm going to India at the end of the year and have an indian passport so I will be also looking for opps over there. What do you do you specialise in?
