I was not surprised to choose Sarah Palin as republican Vice President Candidate, but deeply chocked by different rapid reactions on the subject. Such reactions might be acceptable if happened in the third world where the only job for women is cooking/baby making.
The shame in Sarah’s case, she is ’40-something candidate with four years in major office and no significant foreign policy experience was not ready to be president’. (NYT- PETER BAKER). No body had the courage to admit that th… Continue

Everyone knows the damaging effects secondhand smoke can have on people – but what about our pets?
More and more, scientific research is finding that secondhand smoke also poses a significant health threat to our furry and feathered friends. The American Journal of Epidemiology reported the following findings:
Cats exposed to secondhand smoke have almost doubl… Continue

Preventative Vet. Care for Dogs And Cats shared by Bullie Pups R Us Think about the regular care you receive throughout your lifetime from pediatricians, dentists, physicians, allergists, ophthalmologists, and so on. Important tips for selecting a boarding kennel.
Choosing a Kennel
If you’re planning on boarding your dog while you’re on a trip, here’s what to look for in the boarding facility, as well as in your dog upon your return. There is no leader where are no followers.
Maslow’s Pyramid is my favorite. First, it’s simple. Second, it makes sense. Third, it’s easy to grasp. If you want to experience something close to a natural disaster, don’t let me sleep for 3 days. Full and well rested, with a renewed lease, I strive for more. There must be more to life.
The modern day fairytale: I want social interaction, I want social recognition, I want traffic to my website, I want to be the boss, I want to be famous, I want to… Continue
I’ve been receiving emails from Adrants Daily for quite a while now. Not that I haven’t noticed the modest invitation in the middle of the email that kindly and business daily to join the community. I think that I actually visited the site a few times but never really entertained the thought of joining it. Until last week. Maybe I was bored, maybe I had something to write about, or maybe I… I don’t exactly remember. As any other “newly joined”, I created a profile, uploaded a picture of a cartoo… Continue

Social media is a beautiful thing.
One in a million: You can advance your career, make new friends, date, keep in touch and do so many other great things in your sweats directly from your couch. Let’s take MySpace for example. Think about that: How many friends do we have in “real life”? With how many friends and how often can we communicate at the same time? Do you actually have friends in “real life”? But you can have it all on MySpace. Careerbuilder makes you feel great about yourself… Continue
One of my recent investments is an interactive property that is designed to empower consumers to easily find a local car dealership and an employee within that dealership that has demonstrated their ability to take care of customers. 100% of the ratings of these staff members is submitted by recent customers and is available for the public to see regardless of the nature of the rating, good or bad.
For the platform to be successful,… Continue

So for the last few years, we have been running a PPC campaign, and not much else being that our department was lacking in leadership/planning. Now, we have a functioning department and we are trying to put together an ‘integrated’ marketing plan in which the PPC campaign is still present but more a part of a whole, versus the entire ‘kit and kaboodle’. The problem is, we have a vendor telling upper management that ” that more and more
companies are depending on pay-per-click”. In the meantime,… Continue
My family, friends and business associates call me Rick. It’s been that way since tenth grade. Before that, it was customary to go by Ricky, but my second-year Spanish teacher, a Cuban immigrant named Mrs. Vidales, ruffled the ‘r’ just enough when she spoke my name in front of my classmates to drive me to distraction. Instead of being the affable kid with some semblance of coolness, I was Rrrricky, like the cartoon character that kept hawking potato chips by saying “Rrrruffles have rrridges!” Th… Continue

My daughter Megan didn’t believe me at first on July 29 after a 5.4 magnitude quake centered southeast of Chino Hills, Calif. shook the Southland for up to 30 seconds. I was at home downstairs contemplating what to eat for lunch when I felt the floor vibrate, then shake, for just under ten seconds. She was upstairs and scoffed at my announcement that we’d just had an earthquake.
“Prove it to me,” she said. So I turned on the TV to ABC’s HD channel and, sure enough, Eyewitness News was scrutiniz… Continue
